A straightforward dispute and a major case prepared intensively by an opponent or investigative authority require different legal strategies and levels of resources.

Daeryun brings the full strength of its infrastructure to provide focused, powerful support in cases that directly affect your life.

We stand with you from our first meeting through the final resolution of your case.

DAERYUN SPECIAL DIVISION

Difficult, high-stakes cases belong with the Special Division

Elite attorneys in corporate, criminal, civil and administrative law
form a dedicated task force based at our main office to handle complex, high-stakes matters.

Why the Special Division?

The Special Division is Daeryun's priority case-handling organization.

Our approach applies major-case handling methods used by the Supreme Prosecutors' Office's Central Investigation Department and special units at district prosecutors' offices to legal services.

Cases assigned to the Special Division receive concentrated support from Daeryun's extensive personnel and material resources.

Because each case receives substantial resources, the Special Division limits its caseload and handles each matter under an individual engagement agreement.

Every case assessment at Daeryun uses the Special Division as its benchmark for review.

Do any of the following apply to your situation?

  • Compulsory investigative measures are underway or expected, such as detention, searches, seizures or a summons.
  • The outcome of the dispute puts your entire assets or your company's survival at stake.
  • The opposing party is a government body or a major corporation, or has retained a large law firm.
  • Another law firm handled the first trial, but an unfavorable result needs to be overturned.
  • You want the firm's full legal resources behind you, rather than a single attorney.
  • Cost is not your primary concern; securing the outcome you seek is your first priority.

If at least one item applies

Your case may require an immediate preliminary review by the Special Division

Facing investigative authorities or a major opponent requires a strategy designed by a Special Division task force from the outset. Request a preliminary review to protect the critical early stages of your case.

If none of the items applies

We recommend a consultation with a specialist in the relevant practice group

Start with a specialist in your case's practice area. Based on the complexity of your case and your legal budget, we will assign an appropriate practice group, regional panel or individual team.

Engagement by the Special Division
is decided after a preliminary review.

The Special Division commits Daeryun's core people and services.
Only cases that pass a thorough preliminary review are accepted.

If our review finds that Special Division involvement is disproportionate, or that a practice group or panel is more suitable, we will recommend the appropriate team.
