Policy Advisor Kim Kwang-muk, whose main work is legislative consulting and corporate advisory, joined the National Assembly Secretariat after passing the Legislative Examination (10th, ranked second) in 1990, and for 30 years played a key role in the National Assembly's legislative and budget-review processes. While serving in positions such as general manager of the National Assembly Legislation Office, specialist member of the Trade, Industry and Energy Committee, director of the budget analysis office at the National Assembly Budget Office, and senior standing committee specialist for the Strategy and Finance Committee and the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, he demonstrated a high level of expertise in persuading and coordinating stakeholders such as National Assembly members, government agencies, and the media. Recently, he has been actively working as a policy expert who resolves and advises on the difficulties faced by companies, public institutions, and local governments.
