Advisor Bae Jin-cheol, who served as the Adjudication Coordination Officer, the Operations Support Division Director, and the Director General of the Business Transaction Policy Bureau at the Fair Trade Commission, as well as the Competition Cooperation Counselor at the Korean Embassy in the United States, has built broad experience in fair trade policymaking, competition law enforcement, and international competition cooperation. He has participated in major fair trade matters such as collusion cases and business combination reviews in core national industries including semiconductors, oil refining, petrochemicals, shipping, aviation, and telecommunications, and, having also served as President of the Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency, he contributed to the reasonable resolution of disputes between companies and the establishment of a fair trading order. In addition, he has contributed to strengthening corporate management and compliance systems by serving as an outside director of Asiana Airlines and as an advisory member of Hanwha Life Insurance's Customer Trust Plus committee.
