Hello.. Literally, I think I have been the victim of financial fraud.. These days, because my financial situation has been difficult, I was looking into a loan with low interest. Then I received an advertising call about a long-term card loan, and when I listened to what they said, the interest also seemed fine.. They requested my ID and OTP number, so I naturally assumed these were needed for the loan. It turned out to be a loan-pretext financial fraud.. The damage is serious... How should I resolve this..?

Hello. The situation you describe is a 'loan-pretext type of financial fraud,' a representative type of financial fraud in which criminals use a loan as bait to seize the victim's personal information, ID, OTP number, and the like, thereby causing financial harm.
In particular, where a copy of the ID and the OTP number have been provided, there is a high possibility that unauthorized withdrawals were made from an account in your name, or that non-bank loans or card issuances were carried out in the victim's name.
First, as soon as the damage is confirmed, you should file the case by submitting a 'report of damage from telecommunications-based financial fraud' to the competent police station, the Financial Supervisory Service, or the Integrated Reporting and Response Center for Telecommunications-Based Financial Fraud, and at the same time, on the ground that the relevant account was used in a fraudulent transaction, you should make a 'request for suspension of payment' to the financial company.
In addition, you should check all accounts, cards, and loan records opened in your name through the Financial Supervisory Service's 'identity-theft inquiry service,' and if there are any abnormal records, you should immediately request a damage report and measures from the relevant financial institution.
Because, given the nature of financial fraud, recovery is often difficult, it is advisable to also review the possibility of a civil claim for damages with the assistance of an attorney with relevant expertise.
We recommend that you thoroughly collect materials to prove the fact of the damage (such as call recordings, text messages, and account transaction records) and proceed with a legal response in parallel with the police investigation.
