Q
How is the contribution to the division of marital property in divorce judged?
Views8,627
I have been a full-time homemaker for about 25 years. I raised our two children all by myself and did all the housework and even supported my husband.. My husband had an affair. When I said let us divorce, he agreed and said that the division of property would be determined according to the contribution to the division of marital property in divorce, and that I would not receive a single penny.. Is that correct?

According to Supreme Court Decision 93Seu6 of May 11, 1993, if a person contributed to the maintenance or increase of the husband's property by providing support, such as by sharing household labor, the property built through the cooperation of both parties becomes subject to division of property.
As such, a full-time homemaker can also be recognized for their contribution to the division of marital property in divorce; the index by which the court checks how much each spouse contributed to the formation of property when dividing marital property in a divorce is called the contribution to the division of marital property in divorce.
The criteria for judging the contribution to the division of marital property in divorce are as follows.
