A Los Angeles drunk driving accident lawyer can assess charges through driver identity, alcohol evidence, and injury causation. A crash alone does not prove DUI causing injury. The prosecution must connect a separate unlawful driving act or neglected duty to another person's injury. Reports, chemical tests, and witness accounts may reveal disputes about the driver and the collision. Criminal, DMV, and insurance proceedings remain separate.

A superhero costume appears online for a fraction of the official price. The colors, symbols, and character design look familiar, but the seller has no licensing agreement with the entertainment company. Is the costume an illegal knockoff or simply a creative alternative?Major entertainment franchises use copyright, trademark, licensing agreements, and federal enforcement procedures to protect their characters and merchandise. Treaty planning in a multinational structure turns on limitation on benefits. A holding company in a treaty country does not obtain the reduced withholding rate merely by being resident there; it must satisfy one of the LOB tests — publicly traded, ownership and base erosion, active trade or business, or a discretionary determination from the competent authority. A structure that fails every test pays the statutory rate regardless of where the entity sits. The claim is made before payment, not at filing. The payee furnishes Form W-8BEN-E with the LOB certification completed, and a treaty-based return position is disclosed on Form 8833 under § 6114, with a $10,000 penalty for a corporation that omits it. For other corporate groups they do not, and the regulatory gates in a cross-border deal are HSR and, for a foreign buyer, CFIUS.
