Jeju Medical Association aims to improve the rights of local medical technicians and improve public health and medical care
Daeryun, expected to develop medical litigation group by sharing various field experiences
Daeryun Law Firm (Limited) announced on the 13th that it signed an MOU (business agreement) with the Jeju Provincial Association of the Korean Association of Medical Technicians (hereinafter referred to as the Jeju Association of Medical Technicians).
The MOU signing ceremony held at the Daeryun Law Firm (Limited) Jeju office on the 12th was attended by Daeryun Law Firm (Limited) CEO Kuk-il Kim, attorney Seung-seok Ko, Jeju Association of Arts and Culture Chairman Kim Chang-taek, and Jeju Halla University professor Jeong Moo-sang.
Daeryun Medical Litigation Group at Law Firm (Limited) responds to various medical disputes with a diverse team of experts in the medical field, including hospital experts such as pharmacists and oriental medical doctors, and lawyers who were former examiners of the Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Service.
The Korean Association of Medical Technologists is an organization where eight organizations, including the Korean Radiographers Association, the Korean Association of Clinical Patent Attorneys, and the Korean Physical Therapists Association, gathered together to improve the rights and interests of medical technicians and others.
The Jeju Medical Association was launched with corporate registration in April, and is currently working with the goal of improving the rights and interests of medical technicians in the Jeju Island region and improving the health and medical care of the residents.
Through this agreement, Daeryun Law Firm (Lihan) plans to provide legal advice to protect the rights and interests of medical technicians. The Jeju Medical Association plans to share the experience that medical technicians have accumulated over a long period of time in hospital settings with the Daeryun Medical Litigation Group of the Law Firm (Lihan).
Kim Chang-taek, president of the Jeju Medical Association, said, “In the medical field, victims often file lawsuits against individual medical technicians rather than hospitals, so legal advice is very important. This agreement will be a great help in protecting the rights and interests of medical technicians.”
Kim Kuk-il, CEO of Daeryun Law Firm (Limited), said, “We will seek help with medical advice through continued cooperation with the Jeju Medical Association,” and added, “We will work together to ensure that the two organizations can have a positive impact on the healthy development of the local community.”
Meanwhile, Daeryun Law Firm (Lihan) plans to solidify its position as a medical litigation group by pursuing the signing of an MOU with the Korean Medical Association in each region of the country following the Jeju Medical Council.
