Daeryun Law Firm helps victims of ‘Daeryun impersonation fraud’

Daeryun Law Firm (Yuhan) is attracting attention by providing legal support to young people who have been victims of crimes committed by impersonating them.

According to the legal community on the 11th, Daeryun submitted a letter of appointment as a lawyer to the Daegu Seongseo Police Station on behalf of Mr. A, in his 20s, who was recently a victim of fraud on a used trading platform.

Mr. A suffered fraud while disposing of a luxury bag through the used trading platform Carrot Market around June of this year.

The unidentified buyer encouraged Mr. A to make a transaction through an external channel, and Mr. A, who needed to dispose of the product quickly at the time, responded to the offer and was defrauded of up to 8 million won.

The problem is that while looking for a law firm for legal action, Mr. A fell victim to a fraudster impersonating Daeryun again.

It is known that the other party impersonated a Daeryun counselor and embezzled money under the pretense of accepting civil and criminal cases.

After hearing Mr. A's sad story, Daeryun decided to take on Mr. A's case and provide legal support.

Attorney Young-kyung Ko of the Daeryun Gwangju branch office, who represented Mr. A, said, "I couldn't help but be angry when I heard that Mr. A, who had been going through a difficult time due to fraud, suffered secondary damage from an impersonator impersonating our corporation." He added, "I want to make every effort to take additional procedures to resolve Mr. A's injustice."

Daeryun plans to continue to provide a variety of legal support to young people and underprivileged people experiencing legal difficulties, including victims of crimes impersonating Daeryun like Mr. A.
