1. The Client Who Requested Galaxy Forensics Analysis
This is a case in which we assisted a client who requested Galaxy forensic analysis.
The client, who served as the sales team leader at a mid-sized domestic company, Company A, recently came under suspicion of improper financial dealings raised by the company's internal audit team.
This was because an anonymous tip had been received alleging that the client had received an improper rebate during the contracting process with Company B, one of its main business partners.

What Is Mobile Phone Forensics?
Mobile phone forensics is a field of 🔗digital forensics that collects, analyzes, and recovers data from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
It is used mainly for purposes such as criminal investigations, legal disputes, and corporate security investigations.
Like digital forensics, mobile phone forensics must be conducted lawfully in compliance with legal procedures, and an expert appraisal report for submission to judicial authorities is prepared and provided.

2. Gathering Evidence of Innocence Through Galaxy Forensics Analysis

Forensic Analysis 1. Recovery of Deleted Text and Messenger Conversations
The company argued that the client’s deleted text messages were highly suspicious.
The client countered that the messages were deleted simply because the storage space was full.
To substantiate the client’s account, Daeryun set out to recover the client’s deleted text messages.
Through Galaxy forensic analysis, the data was restored, but the content contained only work-related discussions and revealed no circumstances suggesting any exchange of money or valuables.
By conducting keyword searches of the recovered messages for words and expressions related to the exchange of money or valuables, Daeryun gathered evidence that no such references existed.
Forensic Analysis 2. Securing and Analyzing Financial Transaction Records
Daeryun set out to analyze the mobile banking app in order to respond to the allegation that the client had received money or goods.
It extracted the cache data of the bank app the client was using and recovered the financial transaction history for the relevant period.
It also fully restored deleted receipts and transfer records from the Galaxy gallery and memo apps and set out to review the financial activity.
As a result of this Galaxy forensic analysis, it was able to secure evidence that no suspicious deposit records existed.
Forensic Analysis 3. Analysis of Location Data
An anonymous informant claims that the client met a counterparty's representative at a hotel lounge near the company and exchanged money and valuables.
Daeryun analyzed data such as GPS and movement routes to track and analyze the client's movements.
The GPS log analysis showed that on the date in question the client traveled only between the office and home, with no record of visiting the location claimed by the informant.
There was also no record of any call with the counterparty's representative during that time, so we argued that the content of the report lacked credibility.
3. The Client Cleared of False Suspicion Through Galaxy Forensics Analysis
Through Galaxy forensic analysis, the client was cleared of all charges and was able to return to work as normal.
This was the result of using the forensic analysis to reveal that the suspicion that the client had received money or goods was false.
