Nombrado fiscal de la Fiscalía del Distrito de Seúl, se desempeñó como fiscal en la Sección Sangju de la Fiscalía del Distrito de Daegu, el Ministerio de Justicia, la Sección Oriental de la Fiscalía del Distrito de Seúl y la Fiscalía del Distrito de Gwangju. Tiene un gran conocimiento acumulado a lo largo de 20 años de experiencia como fiscal, incluso como fiscal jefe adjunto de la Fiscalía del Distrito de Cheongju y fiscal jefe de la Fiscalía del Distrito de Busan y de la Fiscalía del Distrito Este de Seúl.
