1. Client Who Requested Protection Services During Divorce Litigation

This is the account of a client who requested protection services during divorce litigation.
The client was preparing for a contested divorce due to the husband's infidelity.
The husband, who sensed that the client was preparing for the divorce, began to threaten her with verbal abuse, intimidation, and acts of self-harm.
Suffering physically and emotionally, the client discussed the situation with the attorney handling the divorce litigation.
The attorney explained that a personal protection service was available through a security center and arranged this collaboration so that the client could proceed with the divorce safely.
What Grounds Qualify for Divorce Litigation?
A divorce may proceed through 🔗divorce by agreement between the spouses, but if a statutory ground for judicial divorce exists, a divorce may proceed through a divorce lawsuit.
The following are the grounds for divorce set out in the Civil Act.
| 1. When the spouse has committed an act of infidelity 2. When the spouse has maliciously deserted the other 3. When one has been extremely unfairly treated by the spouse or the spouse's lineal ascendant 4. When one's own lineal ascendant has been extremely unfairly treated by the spouse 5. When the spouse's whereabouts have been unknown for three years or more 6. When there is any other serious ground that makes it difficult to continue the marriage |
2. Personal Protection Services Provided During Divorce Litigation
To bring the divorce litigation to a safe conclusion, a security group provided personal protection services.
Personal Protection Service 1. Assistance With Separating Residences
To protect the client, the security group proposed separating the residences.
While the husband was away from the home, the group helped the client move quickly and ensured that the new residence would not be exposed.
Personal Protection Service 2. Close Protection Services Provided
The security group guarded the client's residence and installed security cameras and other equipment for real-time monitoring.
To protect the client, the group also provided continuous protection at her home, workplace, and along her travel routes.
Personal Protection Service 3. Immediate Suppression of Violent Conduct
The husband lay in wait near the client's workplace and attacked her as she was leaving work.
The protection officer providing close protection beside the client immediately subdued the husband's conduct and moved the client to a safe location.
Personal Protection Service 4. Collection of Legal Evidence
To collect evidence that could be used at trial, the security group recorded events in real time while protecting the client.
As a result, the group was able to preserve footage of the husband's attack as evidence and handed the material over to the attorney for use in the divorce litigation.
3. Client in Divorce Litigation Achieves a Safe Divorce
The client who requested protection services during the divorce litigation was able to conclude the divorce lawsuit safely.
Cases in which a spouse becomes violent during a divorce are not uncommon.
In particular, if there has been domestic violence, or if the other party may be unable to accept the divorce and may resort to extreme conduct, safety should be the foremost consideration.
In such situations, receiving help from a security center goes beyond mere protection and can play an important role in maintaining psychological stability and allowing the legal process to proceed smoothly.
