Nommé procureur au bureau du procureur du district de Séoul, il a exercé les fonctions de procureur auprès de la branche de Sangju du bureau du procureur du district de Daegu, du ministère de la Justice, de la branche orientale du bureau du procureur du district de Séoul et du bureau du procureur du district de Gwangju.
