Q
What should I be careful about when reviewing the contract while drafting work rules?

After my mother recently passed away, I've been organizing the estate, and the term 'joint heirs' keeps coming up in family discussions. I understand that when there are multiple heirs, they become joint heirs, but I'm wondering exactly when joint heirs arise and who they are. Also, when one becomes a joint heir, how are individual rights divided, and how is the inherited property distributed? I'm also wondering if having more heirs makes property division more difficult.

When drafting or changing work rules, above all, the opinion of the labor union organized by a majority of the workers in the relevant business or workplace must be heard and reflected.
If there is no labor union organized by a majority of the workers, the opinion of the majority of workers must be heard and the rule-related documents and contract review must be completed.
If changing work rules unfavorably to workers, consent must be obtained from a majority of the workers.
It should also be noted that work rules must not conflict with laws or collective agreements applicable to the relevant business or workplace.
Furthermore, employers who regularly use 10 or more workers must draft work rules and report them to the Minister of Employment and Labor.
Since labor contracts setting working conditions below the standards stipulated in the work rules may become invalid as to that part, it is good to receive a contract review.
Representative examples of items to be included in work rules
▶ Matters concerning the start and end times of work, break times, leaves, and shift work
▶ Matters concerning wage determination, payment methods, wage calculation periods, payment timing, and pay raises
▶ Matters concerning calculation and payment methods of family allowances
▶ Matters concerning retirement
▶ Matters concerning workers' meal expenses, work supplies, etc.
▶ Matters concerning educational facilities for workers
