Q
Military attorney, what happens if a social service worker receives a warning during service?
Vistas7,520
My father left about 40 million won in assets, but it's been confirmed that he also has about 40 million won in loans. It seems he also borrowed money from people around him, but the exact amount is unknown. I heard that inheritance means taking on the debts too, so I'm worried about whether to accept the inheritance without even knowing the exact amount. I heard that in such cases, qualified acceptance can be used to limit the scope of inheritance — I'd like to know if I can actually apply this method.

Hello. This is the military attorney at Daeryun Law Firm (LLC).
If a social service worker fails to follow legitimate work orders or neglects work for certain reasons, they receive a warning disposition.
Each time a warning is received, the service period is extended by 5 days.
For example, if a worker receives 8 or more warnings for reasons such as unauthorized lateness, unauthorized early departure, or leaving the workplace, the head of the service institution will report them to the competent investigative agency, and they may be sentenced to imprisonment of up to 1 year.
After receiving criminal punishment, they must serve the remaining service period again.
Specifically, acts subject to warning include: obstruction of work or incitement of negligence, violation of the prohibition on political activities, cruel treatment of other social service workers or social service users, unauthorized concurrent dual employment, drinking, gambling, or disorderly conduct during work, accessing information without legitimate authority, and being late, leaving early, or being absent without legitimate reason, as well as unauthorized absence from training.
Therefore, if you receive a warning for unauthorized lateness due to oversleeping, your service period will be extended, and if warnings are repeated, you may even face serious criminal punishment, so it is best to be especially careful.
