Authoritative Interpretation

Legislative interpretation is a method of interpretation in which a legislative body, such as the National Assembly, directly enacts or amends a statute in order to clarify its meaning.

Because it fixes the standard of interpretation through enactment or amendment, it carries the strongest legal binding force, and all administrative agencies and courts must follow it.
