Q
Drug attorney, is it illegal to receive narcotic medications by proxy prescription?
浏览量7,652
I've been suffering from stalking for about 2 weeks from a store customer who keeps contacting and approaching me, and I filed a police report. Afterward, a stalking warning was issued — I'm wondering exactly what the effect of a stalking warning means. I'd also like to know whether it can actually block the other party's behavior, or if I need to take additional measures separately.

Hello. This is the drug attorney at Daeryun Law Firm.
Receiving narcotic medications by proxy prescription is, in principle, illegal.
Although the level of punishment may vary depending on the type of narcotics prescribed, you may face up to 10 years of imprisonment or a fine of up to 100 million won.
It should also be noted that the person who requested the proxy prescription may be subject to the same punishment as the person who received the prescription.
However, in the following exceptional situations, proxy prescription of narcotics may be allowed.
As a drug attorney, I will briefly explain.
▶ When making a follow-up visit for the same illness
▶ When the same prescription has been repeated for a long time and there is little possibility of change
▶ When the patient has mobility difficulties or is unconscious (when the proxy visits with supporting documents)
▶ When the attending physician has confirmed the stability
Even in situations where proxy prescription of narcotics is permitted, only spouses, lineal blood relatives and their spouses, siblings, the spouse's siblings and lineal blood relatives, etc., are allowed to receive them.
For more details, please consult with a drug attorney to obtain accurate information.
